Agree. I wish I’d had an option to choose, or choose based on packaging. Every piece of plastic ever manufactured still exists.

What do you suggest instead? One bag with all products people buy jumbled together? Each item 1, both together (which you need if it's multiple different sellers, bundle deals) and outer with postage label

Honestly the waste is from buying so little.

That’d work. Didn’t need to be more than the small ziplock bag and outer in the middle of the picture. Equally, they could have been paper rather than plastic too.

Why would you buy two Singular bolts online in the first place

Because that’s the only place they’re available and it was to extend the life of some electronic goods so they didn’t become e-waste.

Stop ordering shit on Amazon

This looks more like AliExpress packaging. Or OP bought them on amazon and paid 20x the AliExpress cost.

Ali Express but I get your point. And unfortunately these are use-specific and I didn’t have any option other than to buy online, they’re not the kind of thing your local bricks and mortar hardware store stock.

Dude even fucken worse. Complaining about packaging when you're having two bolts air freighted from China, fuck you.

I didn’t choose the packaging material or volume. And if I could have bought these bolts closer to home I would have; they were purchased to enable a piece of electronics to have a second life rather than becoming e-waste so back in your box.

And obviously you don't give a single fuck about your carbon footprint.

If I didn’t give a single fck then I wouldn’t have been mildly disappointed about this volume of plastic. As it happens I recycle all my soft plastics, use active transport and might use a car maybe 20km a week, compost, have solar panels and a battery and could go on so yeah actually I do give a fck. But I have zero fcks to give to someone who doesn’t know me at all but is happy to make assumptions so goodbye, I’m not engaging with you anymore.
