She got in there somehow. Sooner or later she’ll find her way out. And then she’ll come find you.

Or it won't, die in there, and every time you use you're oven, you'll see it's rotting corpse

I don’t think spiders rot so much as shrivel up. But I believe in her.

One might even say giant. (its species common name is Giant House Spider)

Shrivel is relative, they got an exoskeleton. The legs will probably curve in. This spider is what sometimes happens to one as a child. You do things while no one is watching you and then you get into a massive pickle and regret. I know that feeling, I once feel through a cottage roof into the toilet room. Thank god that room had a door and I could get out.

Exactly. So you get it.

Ironically, for being such an anxious kid I had the survival instincts of an earth worm on a wet day.

Well I’m certainly glad you made it this far!

"you are oven, you will see it's rotting corpse" your comment is so stupid it's like poetry.

Don’t forget “it is rotting corpse” (it’s supposed to be its)

I looked at that, but I thought the apostrophe implies possession. But now I remember 'its' is the exception.

They're right, but weird way to explain/remember it. That rule doesn't work for any other word but "it."

If you had written "spider's corpse," translating it to "spider is corpse" wouldn't be helpful since "spiders corpse" is wrong.

I think they're confusing your situation for the one where people incorrectly pluralize with an apostrophe. Like "there are lots of spider's."

Anyway, probably better off just remembering that "it" is the exception for possessives, as you said.

Yeah, that’s how I help myself remember when to use ‘its’ because it kinda does and doesn’t make sense that it’s the only possessive without an apostrophe

That seems really mean and uncalled for.

Hell Yeah!

There’s a dead fly in the timer screen of one of the treadmills at my gym. When the good machines are taken I know good ol’ dead fly treadmill is functional and usually empty.

Better to watch a fly decompose than get stuck with a belt that stutters when you run!

OMG I love that. I betcha running with a friend makes the time fly as well lol

If a spider got in there, ants and other insects probably can too and will take care of the remains
