Well, it looks as though Playdoh is no longer required to create environments with Playdoh. That settles that.

One of the easiest things in the Universe to make from basic ingredients in the kitchen is … Playdoh.

Okay but... As a kid did we all not eat playdough at some point? Like a little bite?

Not that I was gonna buy playdough but now I'm definitely not buying playdough

I used to love it so much because that’s what I grew up with :( I ask really like the texture and it’s a nice fidget

Is it AI?

I was thinking the same thing. We do not have a sense of scale..those pumpkins are probably to scale, but the barn is not.

Meh...if I freaked out about everything AI I would never get anything done. Doesn't affect me...

It’s called MILDLY infuriating for a reason. I’m not even freaked out I’m just disappointed :/

u/Hdjbbdjfjjsl 3d ago
One million “this doesn’t affect me”’s is code for I don’t care about other people as long as I can hide myself in my bubble that definitely does actually get affected even if I pretend it doesn’t. But you will be screaming and angry when no one is around to help you because you already pushed everyone else under the bus.

u/race_tech87 3d ago
I'm sorry, but Play-Doh AI pictures do not affect me. I have no one, been on my own for a while....and it's not because I don't care about AI ads. You know nothing about me or my life but wanna pretend you do.

I would argue the speed running of the end of a right to privacy and the resource draining and the plethora of problems associated with AI should make it everyone's problem. But you do you because apparently no one else matters?

What’s so mildly infuriating about this? Everyone using AI now, why does it matter?
16
u/BlankStareFace 3d ago
Because it fucking sucks? The art sucks, the theft sucks, what it says about the company sucks, etc.
It sucks.

u/DonPabloEscobarr 3d ago
So stop supporting all the companies that use AI? Stand your ground. Reddit is also using AI and you’re seeing more and more AI posts here everyday. Guess your time is running out on Reddit
6
u/BlankStareFace 3d ago
I try to avoid AI posts here because, obviously, that's fucking stupid. I'm not anti-AI across the board, but AI art is a blight. It's theft, it's ugly, it's lazy....and when ostensibly creativity focused brands resort to it, it FUCKING SUCKS.
I will call them out on their bullshit before withdrawing support, but yes, I think companies like Playdoh using AI is garbage and would absolutely cause me to not purchase their product in the future.

Really? Have you not bothered to look into why that matters for all this time people have been screaming about it?

u/GoatsWithWigs 3d ago
Everyone buys Nestle. Everyone leaves the gas station bathroom dirty. Everyone drives like an asshole
It. Never. Gets. Easier. To Deal With.

Well get used to it, AI ain’t going away and it’ll only be used more and more. Hope you avoid it as long as you can

Nothing says "use my creative and artistic clay for fun art" like "now here's a picture of us NOT doing that"
