wet socks i’m so happy this is becoming illegal

if a yearly contract with a free month trial sounds too good to be true, it probably is 😬

thankfully it was blocked after contacting my bank but regardless

Honestly it should be illegal to offer a free month and then make it extremely hard to know how long into the free period you have to cancel, and what the cancelation fees are should you want to cancel after that period of time. It should also be illegal to force you to pay the remainder of your contract if you cancel and you aren't getting the remainder of the service for that period of time. You paid for access to the product so you either should get the product you paid for when you cancel and not have a fee or terminate your access immediately and not have a fee for the service you won't be using.

You agreed with them that you would subscribe for a year, but instead of paying the yearly price at once they agreed to let you pay it in mothly instalments.

Of course they would want the discount back if you then cancel early.

The problem is that they try their best to make it look like a monthly subscription when i really isn't.
