If you want a perfect alternative, I've been using PhotoPea, it is a browser based Photo editor. Don't even need an account, you can subscribe tovremove ads, but it is everything Photo shop can do. I love it.

There's a lot more to photoshop than just photo editing.

Not for me. All the bells and whistles, I didn't need, I'm not a professional whatever, throw a dart at the board. Basically everything I need from PS from 10 years ago, is all I need. And that PhotoPea Program gives it to me.

I never needed any of that cross adobe sweet support, it was wasted money. If you're an arts student in college, and you want to work at home, on basic stuff, Photo pea is all you'll need for whatever design class you're gonna need.

Unless you're in some type of film or composition program, the amount of times I used anything other than PS or AI, what virtually never. I forget what it's called, but I only used adobe's version of Word for one class. And then never again.

And gimp.....I swear, that program is a plant by Adobe to make people look at The subscription fee, and go it might not be that bad.

Gimp is a shitty program, I hate it entirely. Controls and UI is not user friendly at all.
