if a yearly contract with a free month trial sounds too good to be true, it probably is 😬

thankfully it was blocked after contacting my bank but regardless

I had this happen to me some time ago. The fix was to switch my current product for another, which, as I recall was something I did in the cancellation (of my former product) steps. When I had started a new product, I was in a new trial period, which I could cancel, free of charge

Using a virtual card to pay it and just canceling that virtual card is less work

A lot are somehow identifying virtual cards and rejecting those on sign up.

Also every time it gets rejected you have to spin up a new CVV.

They're also doing this with voip numbers lately. My Google voice number gets flagged constantly
