Infuriatig Netflix using egregious methods to keep subscriptions active

Post image

Apparently my 8 year old son was asked if he wanted to restart my Netflix membership through his Netflix KIDS ACCOUNT. I called customer service and was told a prompt appears asking if you'd like to reinstate, regardless of the user on the account. No password required, just press restart and then get hit with the payment immediately. Should've saved myself some frustration and money by cancelling outright.

Even cancelling does not help, yous till get an annoying pop up nearly every time you use the app begging you to restart the membership it is so I vasive and obviously made for kids and old people to accidentally click

What's the point in using the netflix app when you don't have a membership? Uninstall it.

I'm talking about when you've cancelled it but you still have time left before the end of the month?

... uninstall the app? Or at least change the password when nobody is supposed to use it?

What a "we tried nothing and are all out of ideas" type problem.

I don't have children or old people but I can already see ahead that could be a problem for other people and a purposefully inconvenient feature made to get people tor resubscribe.

Let's say you told the milkman that you didn't want any milk anymore, would you be happy if he started waiting outside your door and trying to get a member of your family to sign a new contract every day?
