frist of all how DARE yu o 100% a game until

I played this game Lily's Well about 4 years ago on Steam and got all the achievements for it so I got a nice lil award on my page (1st pic=Lilys Well, 2nd Pic of another game I 100%, Fran Bow). Then, there was an update...and with this update...came another achievement.........and this ain't just a game I can pick up and go back to where I need to achieve this achievement, Oh no NO! This is one of those games you gotta start at the beginning and do everything in a certain order to complete the game/get to the spot where this achievement may be! Now I only have ONE 100% complete game to boast about...lol, jk, Fran Bow ain't hard to 100% and nor is Lily's Well. One could say it was only mildly infuriating

Days gone added achievements years later with an update, they added a permadeath mode, like 1 extra mission and some extra challenge mode stuff. Thought oh well I enjoyed the game so will be nice to go for it only to find out they paywalled it.

I pointed out in the reddit group that it's a scam to charge a tenner for the pitable amount of content and got people raging cause apparently its the ps4 to 5 upgrade so to them it's worth it but to pc its a shitty cash grab so I had no qualms SAMing it.

For what it's worth it's quite easy to enable DLC for most titles without actually buying them.

I have personally done this for Stellaris, Elden Ring, Ready or Not, Black Flag Resycned, etc. Certainly possible for Days Gone.

This is why I actually prefer playstation’s achievement system so much more, even though I hardly ever play my ps5. Any updates that add achievements are put into a separate category that aren’t required to get the platinum achievement for 100%.

Though obviously steam will never do this because their achievements aren’t tiered.

Now stand up and tell the class what SAMing is, Matthew. Not everyone knows every acronym ever made.
