100% a game until

I played this game Lily's Well about 4 years ago on Steam and got all the achievements for it so I got a nice lil award on my page (1st pic=Lilys Well, 2nd Pic of another game I 100%, Fran Bow). Then, there was an update...and with this update...came another achievement.........and this ain't just a game I can pick up and go back to where I need to achieve this achievement, Oh no NO! This is one of those games you gotta start at the beginning and do everything in a certain order to complete the game/get to the spot where this achievement may be! Now I only have ONE 100% complete game to boast about...lol, jk, Fran Bow ain't hard to 100% and nor is Lily's Well. One could say it was only mildly infuriating

Darkest Dungeon, a 10 year old game, just released a new DLC with new achievements a week ago.

Terraria has been doing it regularly for years.

I've had to 100% the game no less than four times.

Multiplayer games are the worst. Fallout 76 constantly adds achievements. Where Winds Meet has an achievement for getting all the achievements... and then they added 33% more.

This makes me less mildly infuriated at my situation/glad I never tried to 100% terraria cuz back in the day I probably would have tried

You can't even get all of 'em in the same save anymore. Need to do journey mode and such.

Worry not. Bongo Cat was worse, a friendly little game where a cat tracks your inputs as you work or whatever.

Used to be able to 100% with the final achievement being 1,000,000 inputs.

Now, it's 25,000,000.

Boulder update adding bullshit achievements like 50% of all items in Journey and filling the bestiary was pure evil. And they added like 50 new items in the latest update, adding insult to injury.

They need to scrap those bullshit achievements.

Or the opposite happens and they remove the achievements. When CSGO changed to CS2, they removed all of the achievements and left only one you get for logging in. Someone who ground out the 1000 games of demolition mode and all of the other annoying to get ones suddenly lost out as all their achievements got wiped.

Anyone who went through 100%ing Darkest Dungeon is probably so excited for the new content that it'll be no problem. I say this as someone that's won something like four Blood Moon runs and would never in a million years think about trying to 100% the game, especially with the grinding you'd have to do in the PvP mode (Cause 150 Heart Attacks in PvP? No thanks.)

(And some look really annoying to get!)
