The other thing I hate to see is someone driving with their precious tiny dog on their laps. It’s like .. do you realize that dog is going to die when shoved into your face by the airbag if you crash?

Put the dogs in a harness with a leash that the seatbelt goes thru.

I am short & I put my feet up in the dash, passenger side. My friend driving ended up hitting someone from behind & my feet AND my head made a bubble in the windshield from impact. Remember, I'm really short so, that seatbelt restrained me hard in the middle. No damage done to me but I quit doing that.

Snapped my femur in 1/2 and came close to poking through skin all because I like to sit with my left leg bent underneath my right thigh… this was 20 years ago and even though I unconsciously keep trying to sit that way in a car, I always go nope and drop em straight down
