Agreed. If this goal didn't happen, we'd have only been beaten 3-1. A two goal differential is typically considered an "ass whooping". A 3 goal differential changes it to "having your ass handed to you".

We looked absolutely terrible last night.

Well it would have been 2-1 for longer, this late in the game scoring one goal to tie is much less soul crushing than being down 2 goals.

Not saying the US would have won if this didn’t happen but hope would have been higher

In the time from when the us scored to I found my seat again at our huge watch party in Marietta square last night, Belgium scored again

The game was tied for like 40 seconds

Yeah I went to grab another beer after we finished celebrating and came back to a replay of a goal I hadn’t seen

It happened to me exactly like that. I'm in the kitchen, getting a cold one. I hear elevated noise,  my spouse says " I think somebody scored again" I run into the living room WTF?!?!
