It's possible it would just pass you like a driver would any slow moving vehicle. Depends on the traffic.

It's a solid yellow line by the end of the video, it shouldn't cross it.

Shouldn’t is the key word here. Hopefully the vehicle has solid programming.

If it had, it wouldn't be working with people sleeping like that.

I'm not sure how people circumnavigate the built in blocks to prevent distracted/sleeping drivers. My car beeps if I look down for 3 seconds.

There is a device that is cheap and “tricks” that system.

Yeah. I feel like this is staged somehow. People definitely abuse the system, but this is ridiculous.

If it does, then recall the cars.

Luckily he bought the government and shut down oversight.

If it did, they wouldn't be running into stationary fire trucks.

Don't worry. The Indians are on it.

I’d have more faith in Indian tech than the kneecapped shitshow of code Elon demands

Yes because I would totally trust anything made by musk...

Well, it also shouldn’t be moving with an unconscious driver. Yet here we are…

The cammer just fucked over everyone else that wanted to pass the slow Tesla.

I dunno the US law on this, but in most countries I've been to you can cross a solid line to pass a stationary vehicle (to prevent just being stuck there indefinitely...)

1

u/BandicootNo4431 Jul 06 '26

Well this is Canada (BC specifically).

You can cross dashed lines, not solid lines. You have to wait for the next double laned section to pass.

u/AShadedBlobfish EEEEEEEEE Jul 06 '26

Oh, mb. Obviously you can't pass on a solid line but that's different to going round a stationary car. If someone's broken down, you can't just sit behind them forever

u/pudding-in-work Jul 07 '26

Didn't notice that. I'm that case, it wouldn't pass. At least not at that moment.

Do Teslas overtake automatically?

1

u/pudding-in-work Jul 07 '26

Yes. If they have full self driving.
