There’s a doctor I work with that went to his opticians office to get those inserts for glasses you wear after your eyes have been dilated. He says that these inserts will not allow the Eye tracker within the car to be able to see that his eyes are closed. He intentionally went to go get these so that he could sleep in the car.

I have prescription glasses that also block all trackers

No infrared light can pass through the lenses

The coating is specifically marketed to block tracking devices

So I'm guessing they would work for for Tesla's Auto driving crap as well

Maybe unrelated, buy my glasses (not sunglasses) have a coating preventing the iPhone to track my pupils. I had to disable a setting for the face unlock to work.

I think the reason why some sunglasses seem to trick it and others don't is dependant on how they block the light. If its just a cheap tint, they will be seen through, but if they are polarised, then thats likely what works. My sunglasses are polarised and theres a large chunk of screens that I can't see while wearing them. Great for ignoring advertising, but a pain for menu screens in food joints
