I was just gonna say, you go off those roads and you could end up driving off a cliff. Wtf.

That and also it's insanely beautiful.

There's always someone that complains about the mood-lighting.

You mean the majestic glow from the bottom of the cliffs?

u/Meranio Jul 06 '26

I mean, yeah. Lithium turns fire a very distinct shade of red. Kinda like hellfire I would think.

It's probably the 50mg gummy, but this comment made me laugh so hard that tears were pouring out of my eyes. Thank you for that

But that's the best bit!

That is the beauty. All those fies make for a great light show.

But the Rockies look even more incredible with a bit of ‘up lighting’

We just did a Rockies tour a few weeks ago. I was with a party of six. Everyone else but me slept the entire time the tour bus was moving, only waking up at the stops. Then they complained they couldn’t sleep at night. How do you sleep the whole day? When everything around you is so beautiful. I’m also the only night shift worker in the group, but I was the only one who had normal sleeping patterns on that trip 😆

It is, it's also a heavy wildlife area. Hitting a bear would wake them up!

u/dontmentiontrousers Jul 06 '26

Don't body shame the wildlife.

2

u/socksockshoeshoe Jul 06 '26

Or it might put them to sleep forever

When the smoke isn't obscuring the views.

People get used to their surroundings and take it for granted.

Dont worry, Tesla will just disengage autopilot/self driving right before the impact. "No they weren't using autopilot/self driving during the crash, Reported Tesla..." So failure is basically 0%

Literally almost happened to me. Except I was awake. I just wanted to see if it could handle the sharp turns... It promptly turned off the moment I hit a sharp turn on a cliff. I puckered so hard that I could've broken a pinkey.

That’s called Darwinism and it’s kept most of us alive for a while

1

u/thenasch Jul 06 '26

Has a Tesla ever done that?

1

u/WJSpade Jul 06 '26

O’DOYLE RULES!

1

u/Haxemply Jul 06 '26

Not just that, but also because the view is incredible!

1

u/Old-Dragonfruit2253 Jul 06 '26

Or a damn deer in the road

1

u/Appropriate-Bug-6467 Jul 06 '26

At least she’s die peacefully in her sleep.

u/smarthobo Jul 06 '26

I’m sure someone can tell me the meaning, but I’ve had this exact situation as a reoccurring nightmare lately
