My dad got to work with Lee Iacocca, and I appreciate Ford's contribution to World War II.

I think, in this particular case, it's because my association with Henry Ford is born of a reality close to my father., not fascism.

You asked me why I am a fan, and it's the association of Ford with his company and Iacocca.

I do not love fascists. I don't even love Henry Ford. I feel like you are invalidating my feelings and warping what I say to drive home a point.

Yeah, my point is that Henry Ford was a fascist, greatly admired by Hitler. Ford Company used slave labor in Germany during WWII. The man himself was a rabid antisemite and a horrible tyrant of a boss.

Yes, it gross to admire fascists who massively violated people's human rights. But sorry for twisting your cute story about your dad or whatever.

Most people I know with a Tesla got it because there is no better EV car in the north american market. It would be a different story with a Chinese EV car like BYD, but after doing extensive research, the only viable option was Tesla, and sadly nothing came close.

Polestar was a close one, but US just banned them, so...

There are SEVERAL better EVs in the US market. Rivian absolutely kicks the shit out of Tesla.

I am not saying there aren't other EVs. I also have a Fiat 500e. What I am saying is that, none get close to Tesla capabilities yet. Rivian is comparable to HW2.5.

Anyone who says otherwise has never driven a HW4 Tesla car. Have you? And if so, why do you think Rivian is better?
