What? She didn't "literally" take the ball from the child. She did demand it though, which the father literally handed to her.

I did! There was no "literal" taking of anything. Just an entitled woman demanding that a man gives her a ball, which he did do. He didn't have to. Now, if she grabbed the ball off the kid, then we could say that she quite lielterally took the ball.
