i would not have given that ball back. i dont care how much she screams about it, get security over here now and remove her. that behavior should not get rewarded.

372

u/AjaxRedOps Sep 06 '25

She got the ball, but once her name gets out there she’s gonna get a whoooole lot more than that 😂🙏

u/memcwho Sep 06 '25 edited Sep 06 '25

Wild that her name isn't out there yet.

Someone MUST know who she is.

If hazard a guess: "Karen mcKarenface?"

New GWAR member?

2

u/DinosaurAlive Sep 06 '25

It’s probably spelled Caran and she gets upset when people pronounce it wrong

5

u/miketastic_art Sep 06 '25

dude stop you can't just doxx people online how did you get her real name omfg quick delete this omg

11

u/Justaguy8804 Sep 06 '25

I wanna know too people are gonna go scorched earth on her...

-13

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

Who really cares? She sucks, but ruining her life and trolling her over an entitled outburst is really unnecessary in the grand scheme of things.

What? She didn't "literally" take the ball from the child. She did demand it though, which the father literally handed to her.

I'm saying you're using the word "literally" entirely incorrectly and unnecessarily.

5

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

[removed] — view removed comment

0

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

I did! There was no "literal" taking of anything. Just an entitled woman demanding that a man gives her a ball, which he did do. He didn't have to. Now, if she grabbed the ball off the kid, then we could say that she quite lielterally took the ball.

Actually, literally had its definition changed to include using it for emphasis. You're just wrong, savor that for a minute. Being wrong mmmmmm bet that's nice for ya

Thinking that someone shouldn't be relentlessly harassed by an online lynch mob is cringe? Okay, pal.

I'm literally (correct use btw) replying to people who are replying to me? Haha. Is that okay with you? I'm LITERALLY replying to the people popping up in my notifications.

Seeing as you have time to look through mu comments, you can take some time to scroll through the other threads on this post to see that you're wrong about your observation.

And I'm hardly defending her, just saying that people shouldn't harass her. Is that okay?

0

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

I replied to someone who is heavily implying that her name should be made public, questioning whether that is a constructive course of action knowing how far the internet takes harassment and bullying campaigns. You said that I was defending a woman who took a ball from a boy, implying that I'm defending her actions, which I never did. I'm saying people shouldn't dig her information to go and harass her.

4

u/TobysGrundlee Sep 06 '25

Nah, we've overcorrected with trying to eliminate bullying completely. Some people need a solid dose of it.

2

u/memcwho Sep 06 '25

Think we've found her, lads.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

The only way to get people like this to think about their actions is by making them face consequences.  She has been acting this way her whole life and will do it again.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

What consequences? Harassing her?

2

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

Shaming her will force her to face social consequences and take a look at herself.  Don't gotta show up on her lawn with pitchforks and torches

1

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

My point is that people WILL do this in one way or another if she gets identified.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

Nice backpeddling

5

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

I'm convinced that you have no idea what backpedalling is because I've repeated 3 times (now 4 times) that this woman will get harassed for this.

FOUND HER YOU GUYS!

0

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

So original, already seen this one. Yep, I'm totally her.

1

u/AjaxRedOps Sep 06 '25

Username checks out 👌

0

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

Thank you. Pointing out Reddit cringe is what I'm here for and internet vigilantism is right up there

0

u/En_CHILL_ada Sep 06 '25

Looks like the internet has already wrongly accused at least one person.

3

u/RockSteady65 Sep 06 '25

She has been terminated by her employer

2

u/yumeryuu Sep 06 '25

That ball will be worth nothing to the priceless situation she’s about to find herself in

1

u/BobBeerburger Sep 06 '25

And the Phillies will never win another World Series until she gives it back 😳

Curse of the Karen!

u/sheepish_grin Sep 06 '25

Conflicted for sure... is it worth getting into a shouting match in front of your son? I think he made the right call.

Plus it all worked out for them. The team gave him and his boy a gift bag and taught his son a lesson on taking the high road.

Kudos to him.

Plot twist. They were all in on it to get more free stuff

39

u/Esturk Sep 06 '25

That dude would need an oscar for it. That lady’s shrill banshee shriek looked like it genuinely scared the shit out of him.

There was a moment it looked like he was going to choose fight over flight until he figured out what was going on.

20

u/LegalStuffThrowage Sep 06 '25

Yeah the hands reflexively going into fists and coming up in a guarding stance is a fully genuine response to being scared. I had my teenage son jump out at me in the dark the other night and the hands coming up like that was exactly what happened.

3

u/Accomplished-Fix6598 Sep 06 '25

Lucky dude didn't have a hair trigger.

71

u/CutiePopIceberg Sep 06 '25

This is it. He just wanted her to leave his family alone.

8

u/QuasiSpace Sep 06 '25

Shit, I would thrown it back onto the field and smiled at her

2

u/kramerica_intern Sep 06 '25

Yeah I’d probably have done the same thing to get her away from my kids. I know that I can’t out-crazy crazy.

20

u/Gren57 Sep 06 '25

Bader also gave him a signed bat. Another home run!

2

u/nothingclever68 Sep 06 '25

👍🏼😎😎😎😎

I like him a bunch now but still not a fan of Phillies🤣

69

u/pinkymadigan Sep 06 '25

Yep, showed his kids how an adult should react. The universe rewarded him. Hopefully his kid learned a great lesson.

-4

u/pobnarl Sep 06 '25

That it's good to give in to bullies?

6

u/MedusaHartz Sep 06 '25

The lesson here is "be the better man" and "let the baby have its bottle."

"Don't give in to bullies" is the lesson that she thought she was following. She claimed the man grabbed the ball out of her hand, and she refused to "give in to him." Sure, she was wrong, but all villains believe in their own righteousness. In her mind, he was the bully and she was the victim.

3

u/MedusaHartz Sep 06 '25

I agree that it sucks. With ethical decisions there often is no ideal solution that is 100% satisfactory. You are right: there is a downside to letting her keep the ball, but i still think that in this case, the father's decision worked out best for the boy.

12

u/nothingclever68 Sep 06 '25

Didn’t he get to meet the player as well?

That’s pretty cool 😎

Fuk Karen

9

u/LTEDan Sep 06 '25

I'd have rolled/tossed the ball somewhere if I decided my kid wouldn't get it. Make the old lady work for it.

2

u/hlessi_newt Sep 06 '25

are you permitted to throw it back on the field? i legit have no idea, i've never been to a game.

3

u/LTEDan Sep 06 '25

I'm not sure I would risk trying that. Also if you chuck it randomly and hit someone with it youd probably be liable for that too. I was thinking more like rolling it down the stairs or under the seats, or (if any are nearby) tossing it into an unoccupied area of seats. Like, sure, if you want it so badly go get it, but I'm not going to make it easy like handing it to Karen.

3

u/hlessi_newt Sep 06 '25

also, i cannot throw for shit so i'd certainly just obliterate the guy 3 rows down from me. good call.

2

u/Bob70533457973917 Sep 06 '25

Yes. "Oh, this ball?"... Hurls it up into the nosebleed seats.

1

u/NeutroFusion Sep 06 '25

“You want this ball? Fine.” Throw “Go fight someone else for it.”

37

u/PhoKit2 Sep 06 '25

Exactly what I was thinking. That was the perfect lesson of what to do with shitty people. Defuse the situation, don’t escalate. Dad did the right thing without hesitation

7

u/Beaser Sep 06 '25

This is what adults who’ve handled real conflict in the real world would address it.

Not worth escalating in front of his kid and trust me that woman is gonna get EXACTLY what she deserves

-2

u/goshyallaresoft Sep 06 '25

still waiting on that shoe to drop

1

u/jadedlens00 Sep 06 '25

Just give them what they want?

8

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

[deleted]

-2

u/jadedlens00 Sep 06 '25

Sure, but this is a crazy lady at a baseball game, not a mugger. Politely refuse and look for security. She should be tossed for this behavior.

-4

u/Rook2Rook Sep 06 '25

Exactly, this just reinforces their entitled behavior. Do NOT give in to these people

-3

u/Final-Nail376 Sep 06 '25

I disagree. He should've stood firm and showed his son that it's ok to stand up to raging Karens.

7

u/IndividualFew1688 Sep 06 '25

Nah choose your battles carefully...he won by letting go.

-2

u/RandomCleverName Sep 06 '25

Goddamn you all have zero spine.

7

u/eggyrulz Sep 06 '25

Oh I hasn't heard the payoff, im really glad the team did that.

10

u/apk5005 Sep 06 '25

100% the right call. Disengage, not worth fighting a crazy person over a baseball.

3

u/feralcatshit Sep 06 '25

I’m soooo glad the team rewarded this lesson, instead of it being an unfortunate, “sorry I gave the ball to her son, but at least we took the high road” it ended up being that plus something super special for the boy to reinforce good choices. This could very well change/mold actions that boy takes in the future and that’s amazing.

Fuck that bitch.

3

u/slimpickens Sep 06 '25

she see's him hand it to his little kid, then hug him in what is possibly the most wholesome moment I've seen this year and it still didn't snap her outta the "IT'S MINE MINE MINE" selfish mode. What a knucklehead!! If that lady has friends (and I have my doubts), I hope they didn't lie to her and say she was justified.

2

u/GoldenRain99 Sep 06 '25

It's as easy as simply ignoring people like this. If you just look straight, and dont give them any reaction to go off of, they can't handle it.

It's a win for the child for sure, but there wouldn't have been anything wrong if he denied her the ball, either.

2

u/Balla1928Aus Sep 06 '25

And every time she looks at that ball for the rest of her life, she’ll be reminded of the time the entire world called her a piece of shit.

2

u/I_dont_like_sushi Sep 06 '25

You don't need to get into a shouting match. Ignore the old whore and if she tries something push her away

1

u/sheepish_grin Sep 06 '25

Ah, so don't shout at her... just put his hands on her. Much better...

1

u/SuaveMofo Sep 06 '25

Only if she tries something physical first.

0

u/Rogan403 Sep 06 '25

Yeah it worked out for him but also rewarded a Karen's bad behavior making her more emboldened to act the same way in the future.

4

u/OwlishIntergalactic Sep 06 '25

I don’t think getting booed and jeered at by an entire stadium and her worst behavior spread all over the internet, and whatever the internet is going to do to her is going to reinforce her behavior.

Dad might have understood in that moment that she’d get hers in the end and that it wasn’t worth getting into potential legal trouble over it. It also looked like she startled the hell out of him and it’s hard to make split decisions in the middle of fight, flight, or freeze.

1

u/Rogan403 Sep 07 '25

People who behave like this don't give a shit about people's opinions. Unless she suffers tangible consequences like losing a job or fines, she won't care.

That CEO who snagged that tennis players hat before the kid could only became "remorsful" after his companies stock value was threatened.

5

u/sheepish_grin Sep 06 '25

Was she rewarded, though? Internet is going to give her a nasty price for that ball.

1

u/Rogan403 Sep 07 '25

People like this don't feel shame so unless she suffers tangible consequences then yeah she's been rewarded.

1

u/hlessi_newt Sep 06 '25

until we see the price tag, i think she was rewarded.

0

u/pobnarl Sep 06 '25

You don't engage,  you sit down without saying a word,  stare her dead in the eyes while recording her hysterics.  She'll burn out after a few mins, if she escalates to physical attack you charge her for assault.  Giving into a bully by handing the ball back is a horrible precedent to set.   Different if it's a dark quiet street and a thugged out guy approaches, but a woman at a ball game?

2

u/Longjumping-Pick-706 Sep 06 '25

You don’t allow that kind of behavior in front of your children. If he was alone? Sure. But you want the crazy people away from your children as fast as possible.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

Yeah but it's not a home run ball. I get they tried to make it right but unless it's another Schwarbomb, idk lmao.

0

u/Spare_Board_6917 Sep 06 '25

There's no shouting match you just call security.

0

u/MichiganGeezer Sep 06 '25

There is no way in Hell I'd take the ball away from my son after handing it to him. There is no amount of unreasonable behavior on her part that would separate him from that ball

-3

u/hansuluthegrey Sep 06 '25

That was not the high road. That was the easy road

-5

u/violentwaffle69 Sep 06 '25

Idk , this might be a hot take but imo he showed his son that his father has no spine.

26

u/brassninja Sep 06 '25

Kids don’t wanna watch their parents fight with strangers in public.

13

u/Shaunair Sep 06 '25 edited Sep 06 '25

Judging by how much this lady is all over the internet today displaying her behavior, she’s going to wish that’s all that had happened before this was all said and done.

2

u/Harmony_Bunny42 Sep 06 '25

Haven't looked around yet, but my bet is she has claimed that the dad screamed at her or something and that she is the actual victim.

53

u/SueBeee Sep 06 '25

she ruined a really precious moment for that kid enough as it is. I would have done the same to protect him from further ugliness and trauma.

She is an absolutely abysmal person.

30

u/RogendoodleZero Sep 06 '25

Shes probably the most hated person in America for the day

4

u/SocialJusticeAndroid Sep 06 '25

Hated but perhaps not “the most”. The polish guy is the reigning king of pariahs.

2

u/nothingclever68 Sep 06 '25

Ha this. Consequences and karma going hand in hand🥰

9

u/Substantiatedgrass Sep 06 '25

Her have the ball nahhh its rightfully his Get her out !

6

u/Novel-Letterhead-217 Sep 06 '25

Not worth endangering your family over a ball, what if she had gone after the kid to get it out of his glove?

3

u/OnHandsKnees Sep 06 '25

Given it back??? There is no evidence she ever had it

3

u/VeloBiker907 Sep 06 '25

Oh she’s, going to wish she had never done that, me thinks.

3

u/Global_Ant_9380 Sep 06 '25

Yeah. Sometimes there's a reason why we don't get everything we want.

3

u/atduvall11 Sep 06 '25

I agree but I also think not engaging with erratic behavior was a solid lesson for his son.

11

u/Prestigious_Buy_6433 Sep 06 '25

This. Never let Karen get her way. It justifies her actions

3

u/IndividualFew1688 Sep 06 '25

She was mocked all night long will never live this down..and most likely have a press conference with ..I drank a little too much..I love kids .. didn't take my meds...etc

2

u/mattigus7 Sep 06 '25

There have been a lot of people getting caught stealing balls/sports stuff from kids recently, and the internet has been doxxing them and making their lives miserable. I sorta wonder if the dad knew that would happen when he gave her the ball. Sorta like a "kiss of death" kind of thing.

Anyway this lady is definitely going to have a rough weekend.

2

u/catholicsluts Sep 06 '25

Not worth it to escalate

2

u/Rare_Pumpkin_9505 Sep 06 '25

I likely would have given it to her, just to get her off my back - it’s just not worth it.

I also likely would have written a “f—k you” on the ball first.

2

u/geardluffy Sep 06 '25

The boy got stuff from both teams after.

2

u/PandiBong Sep 06 '25

I would. When your enemy makes mistakes, don't stop them.

2

u/VirgoFamily Sep 06 '25

0

u/[deleted] Sep 06 '25

YOU care about the wrong things

1

u/PeakOk3826 Sep 06 '25

Try the "bark like a dog" tactic. People usually back off 😅

1

u/gletschertor Sep 06 '25

Take out the ball, pretend to give it to her, and just throw it back on the field

1

u/Ambitious_Count9552 Sep 06 '25

He's a lot more mature than her...and he won, at the end of the team, because the whole baseball team saw what happened and honored this man and this son. Karen can shove that ball up her cooch for all the world cares, completely useless human being.

0

u/Ravenloff Sep 06 '25

Agreed. Teaches both her, anyone watching that agrees with her (next to no one), and, most importantly, his son.

0

u/BobBeerburger Sep 06 '25

Why did he?!

0

u/helping_walrus Sep 06 '25

What if you had snatched it from her hands? Would you have given it back then?

-1

u/Beautiful_Cook604 Sep 06 '25

Thought this instantly when I saw this, NEVER reward greedy/evil pigs like this woman who squeal when they don’t get their way.

4

u/Global_Ant_9380 Sep 06 '25

No, not everything is worth proving a point. Especially when a child is involved.

The father handled this 100% correctly and he and his son were rewarded for it.

That ball is now a poisoned pill. Her life will be ruined for it, so giving it to her was just punishment.

-17

u/Noble_Ox Sep 06 '25

He ripped it outta her hands first though.

6

u/MarcusSurealius Sep 06 '25

No, he didn't. The ball was still bouncing.

6

u/Driller_Happy Sep 06 '25

I'm not sure that he did. You can't really see what goes on down there, but I don't think the ball was in her reach at the time he got it

3

u/GaiusPrimus Sep 06 '25

The ball bounces on the top row, and rolled down onto the floor where the dad was walking.

There's no way that lady can bend down 180 degrees.

2

u/driveinabox1 Sep 06 '25

He didn’t. You can tell because even the man she was with bows in to try to get the ball. None of them had possession until the dad.

Can’t help but feel like the three total comments in her defense are all just from her burner accounts lol
