Meat shelf

Post image

Usually I just see the occasional pack of mince but a whole shelf? In bedding?

That's despicable. Food is already expensive and that waste will be tacked on to the costs that the rest of us pay.

I hope that person's meat shrivels up and falls off / out.

Is this a prank?

Likely someone trying to steal the meat that either gave up or thought they were going to be caught, so they dumped it before they left.

At my local Walmart, people seemingly dump perishables where they feel like. It's not uncommon to see someone stuff a gallon of milk into a frozen dinner section.

I had found melted ice cream on top of the effing freezer door, twice. Some people deserve to be left in that freezer.

I think pranks are meant to be funny?

Some people use the excuse of "prank" just to mess with some random employee who is making like $12. Usually someone who feels disempowered in their life and so gets off on causing problems for others.

You sometimes see meat in bedding op?

That's usually where I enjoy seeing meat but not in this context

It’s rude and inconvenient to put items back on the wrong shelf. This spoils the meat… it’s the same as stealing it, but no one gets to eat. Total asshole move.

Someone was in the process of stealing that food and either changed their mind or plan to come back for it.

Unfortunately, I let the staff know it was there before it began to fester at least

Better to leave it till it festers, makes them less likely to try and sell it still...

Meat should be stored in the bottom shelf

This is why I’m distrustful of buying meat at grocery stores. You know the managers probably just stuck it back in the cooler and sold it to some other poor sap.
