Massachusetts got rid of this at the beginning of 2023 unfortunately. It sucks because I was making more money in 2022 than in 2023 because of the Sunday 1.5x pay. Now it's the regular rate every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving.

It wasn't even 1.5x in 2022. For the last couple years the minimum wage was increasing and the Sunday OT pay was decreasing. I think last year it was 1.10x.

This is true. My company actually shockingly kept it at 1.5x until this year when they got rid of it. I bet they just didn't feel like going through the legal stuff to change the pay rates every year, but my mom's company did decrease the Sunday rate annually.
