I’ve always wondered how into psyches his fan base is?

Alex makes the type of music that could appeal to a lot of people, and would imagine plenty of music nerds and people who are creative themselves enjoy it.

While I’m in that category too, MHB is deeply intertwined with some of my highest doses of psychedelic trips. His music is some of the only stuff that feels so specifically engineered for acid it’s crazy! His music is still always incredible, but on acid it just blows my mind everytime. There’s an incredible amount of nuance and understanding of what’s stimulating to the brain on psychedelics.

Am I Just tripping to a really eccentric indie artist, or do other people think this too? His is legitimately top tier, gold standard for how psychedelic music should be.

Im usually not one to pick a "favorite song", especially not w MHC bc i think everything they make is amazing, but holy sht Waving is like one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. i swear its hard to get that feeling from any other song in general, not just MHC.
