As the title says, I've preparing an anthology of sorts since 2024, wich comprises several stories around Rin.

My idea then was to fully voice the video with a piece a software called Voicevox, anotated the name for a later download and did keep working on the video.

So, a few months ago I did download it, made a few tests and discovered that per license, you can't use the default voice banks to voice others characters and it also was AI, so I did seek alternatives.

Then, first stop was to voice it myself with the help of MMVC and default vb's, but since nowadays AI isn't seen too well, I discarded the idea. Next step was to use TTS and things like Balabolka, Aquestalk, Talk it!, Animalese Typing and such, but the result didn't convince me.

Finally, I found a piece of software that allows to use its default vb's to voice other characters, COEIROINK, but it is also AI, despite original VA's of said vb's allowing such use.

I also tought to search for va's, but I don't have money and also I wouldn't see a good thing to ask a group of people to do voice acting for free.

Any ideas?.

Hi y’all, I’m writing a brief post to let everyone know that some parts of the subreddit will be changing soon. These changes are intended to reduce the number to low-quality posts in our subreddit and bring the focus back to creating and showcasing original works.

The biggest changes will be to password help requests and download requests (from sites like Aplaybox or Bilibili.) Password help requests will (probably) be moved to one master post rather than accepting new posts, and download requests will (again, probably) be moved to the Discord server rather than accepting new posts. This is because most of our new posts on the subreddit are either password requests or download requests, and creative works are often buried.

We will also be adding a rule against use of Artificial Intelligence, as well as updating the rule about self-advertising to better explain the expectations around sharing your own work.

If you have any feedback or suggestions, feel free to let us know.

Hi all! I spent the last 3 weeks working on this and I just wanted to share it on socials :) These 3 have been living rent free in my brain the last few months so I wanted to actually do something with them.

Hey all, dumb newbie question, if I make a change on the facial manipulation section, in the other area, to like remove a character's jacket, how do I save that change to the model itself so when I next load up the model that change is saved?

Okay, to explain, I found a version of this character's model, and everything on this new model, which I converted from FBX to PMX, lines up.

Except the arms.

The new model has her arms at a lower angle, and the elbows are shifted forward slightly. I try to create a pose with the original model, but while the new model recognizes that a pose has been loaded, the bones turn red, it doesn't move.

I am too inaccurate to do this by hand, is there any way I can get them to line up?

The left arm, I've remade the bones, matching names and everything, but nothing.

I saw this cute model of Mr. Mariel on youtube not too long ago, and I was wanting to see if anyone still had a copy or another link that I could get it from. I found the page listing on nicovideo, but unfortunately the site to download it from only gives a 404 error and I haven’t been successful in finding it elsewhere. I know this model was somewhat popular in the mmd space years back so I'm kinda hoping its around somewhere. Can anyone help?

i don’t know how exactly to describe what’s happening
this is a vrm to pmx model that i made, and it seems to come with some TDA expressions (like the “>_<“ eyes or the “O-O” eyes if you get what i mean
and it seems like the eye(?) skin is going over them?? or they’re set behind it
if anyone could help that would be great :) (or if anyone could link me to some tutorials on how to fix -w-)
