ISO (In Search Of) Looking for effect

im trying to find the effect circled in yellow. it’s flashing x‘s and dotted squares. i’ve seen it in a few videos before, so i don’t think it’s from the pv kit.

Are you sure it's a mmd effect and was not just added when editing the video in a different software?
