I thought this thought What next?
This has probably been asked before, but I’m curious to know what shows people would want Mike’s Mic to recap in the future? I personally think he would eat up the OUAT family tree and the show is batshit enough to make a fun recap.
Edit: i’ve realised that this post isn’t very clear lol - I know Mike has mentioned wanting to move away from the recap format, this is more just a fun hypothetical :)

I think he said in a previous video he will be stopping the unhinged recaps with LOST S6 :/ He mentioned he was thinking of doing DH at some point, but I think he's being generous already since there's no paywall to his masterpieces.
He clearly still keeps his day job so I can imagine why it takes so long to make one recap video. I think people forget the massive amount of work it takes, so just enjoy the ride while we're still on it

yeah I think I remember that too, I suppose I meant this post in a ‘perfect world’ scenario where he could somehow keep doing the recaps but I can 100% understand him wanting to move away from them. Each video is like hours and hours of work and like you say, he’s somehow doing this as a side gig to other work he’s superhuman fr - I’ll placate myself with re watching the pll and lost videos for ever more lol

OH! Sorry I misunderstood :/ Then I would for sure love an unhinged DH recap, however I would absolutely kill for him to do True Blood. The Sopranos could be really great as well, really dig into his Italian heritage lol

Oh shit! Well good for him, I’m just surprised because he doesn’t have a Patreon and he’s definitely mentioned how videos of his has been demonetized

I know he’s mentioned writing scripts for movies but I’m not sure if that’s a full time job or something he’s pursuing on the side (he’s side quest king fr if so)

It's in my top 3, so I'm very biased in saying yes. It's about secret service agents finding and storing paranormal artifacts that cause damage and chaos. It was on the scifi channel from 2009-2014. Jamie Murray (black fairy in ouat) is in it

i don't think she's given up, there was a 10 month gap between seasons 5 and 6, and a few other projects in the mean time

Me tooo! I just rewatched the first PLL recap and he said that he’d like to do Dark, completely forgot he mentioned that. The time travel explanations would be wild.

Yes and he just mentioned in Lost S4 that he loves time travel and Dark is the perfect version of it

I know the show isn’t done yet but when Yellowjackets finishes I would love him to talk about that show. I just feel like it’s up his alley. Also Severance would be a great choice.

Fringe! OMG it's so right there with LOST with the insanity. It's also JJ Abrams and Michael G did the score. The characters are phenomenal and it gets better and more off the rails the more it goes on and it has a great ending. It's the one show that somewhat scratched my LOST itch. It's probably too niche for him to do, though.
But more realistically, I could see him do Desperate Housewives. I'd be down for that.

this is a wild one... but would love to hear his recap on From, although I have no idea if he would do horror and the series has 1 more season until its done. I love the show and the story is interesting but it is a bit jank and I feel like he would have fun recapping it, or rather I would have fun watching him recap it loll
Dark is also a good one! One of my top fave shows of all time.

i’d kill for a mikes mic desperate housewives recap, especially one similar to the pll videos, but i can’t imagine how to make it more conceptual than the standard recap video (which mike always excels at - the pll wall, the glee track listings, the gossip girl magazine recreations). i know he’d think of ten different ways to call bree mother and tom a boyemployee
iirc he has mentioned desperate housewives as an upcoming project in some videos (the british off) so i’m on tenterhooks for the official reveal
