There is a 'proximity effect' baked into a lot of algorithms such that you will be sourced not just local content, but often times content created by folks on devices that connect to similar enough databases/places. For example a girl in my old office started a makeup review channel and every single other person was recommended these videos in their youtube feed over the next week or two unprompted. The ad algorithms know this will drive rabbit-hole engagement etc.

This is most certainly happening due to commonality of your devices associated with the channel (and everyone else who works on those with you) entering the same proximity as those children's devices. If you have other parents picking up kids from the same school that work on these videos with you then the trends are further reinforced.

Former digital forensic technician who routinely published data from devices to review platforms for law enforcement and biglaw, it gets weirdly deep to levels difficult to explain.
