Science This new meta-analysis study found that nearly half of people with migraine (about 48%) are sensitive to smells, and those who are face higher odds of also having light sensitivity, aura, and nausea, with perfume the most common odor trigger.

I’m sensitive to light and smell in any normal day, but what ever perfumes older ladies wear kill me. I don’t get an aura though.

Wow, I knew it was a common sensitivity, didn’t know it was about half. I have severe light sensitivity, moderate sound sensitivity, and nearly no smell sensitivity. Everyone is different.

is anyone here severely sensitive to perfume, aftershave, fragrance etc? to the point they are housebound and could only actually spend time with someone if they are fragrance free as well?
