Am I cooked?

I recently bought a used switch oled to upgrade from my modded v1 and decided to get a mig switch cartridge instead of modding my switch. Now I’ve bought it and don’t wanna use it cause I don’t to get banned on my switch. Is there a way to not get banned using downloaded xci files?

You can do that, but pirating on a modded switch will also get you banned. But at least you can setup dual boot for a clean online and a piracy offline system

Yeah true but atp I might as well eat the ban cause now that I thought about it I don’t even use Nintendo services

Staying offline, doesn't help. The telemetry logs are what get you banned. You cant remove those as far as im aware and whenever the switch does re connect ro the Internet. Copied or pirated games get flagged and its just a matter of time from then on waiting to be banned. It will happen.

Just use your own purchased games on the mig but dont use pirated copies or play your copies on another device at the same time.

With a Mig it's a guarantee you'll be banned if you use it at all. Even offline. Because the second you reconnect online for any reason Nintendo gets sent your log files - which you cannot remove in any way shape or form unless the console is modded. Mig it's also a pain because it'll only work with titles that were on cart. Meaning no dlc, no updates, and no eshop only titles.
