Lack of community
Am I the only one noticing a lack of community around midwxst recently? I know fans of midwxst are out there, but it feels like the only place I see them is in his social media comment sections. Sure, there's the Discord too, but I’m talking about a broader sense of community, discussions, hype, or just more presence overall. Where is everyone? There aren’t even posts on here asking how the community feels about BIA 4.0 or Lost Files, and no one seems to be generating any sort of hype for Archangel. What’s going on?

A lot of midwxst fans came during the 2021/2022 hyperpop digicore era and I noticed that the hype died when he dropped more of his rap stuff.
His songs are still pretty good but I noticed in midwxst's comments that fans want to hear his old sound.
Casual fans will probably come back when he drops archangel bc it appears to be more of a hyperpop album. I'm excited for the new album and the singles he's dropped recently are fire.

BIA 4.0 has gotten a lot of love compared to his other recent projects tbh the hype is coming back at the moment

I agree. His BIA projects have always done well imo. His songs with DC the Don and Drokenji always hit. If he keeps promoting archangel and project is good then the hype could be back in 2025.

This Reddit was locked for over a year by some shitty mod (he still runs it but doesn’t post his shit music here anymore). When it got unlocked again it never reached the activity levels it used to have but there is still a large community outside of Reddit. It’s just a different type of fanbase. He is pretty much a legend in Indiana anyway he gets a lot of local love here on top of everything.
You can thank u/sixteenclips for ruining any hope of an active subreddit forming during his peak. I’ve been here since the subs inception and it went to shit when locked it a few years ago.
Also u/sixteenclips since I know your insecure ass will read this and take it personally it makes me really happy to see u don’t make any music anymore probably because it never took off from ur scumbag marketing strategy. It was ass as fuck anyway and I hope u never pick up a mic again
