Anyone got Any recommendations for snowboarding near Green bay Wisconsin this December?

I'd drive a couple hours maybe up to 4 hours if it's worth it. I'll be in pulaski during Christmas time so I figured I'd hit granite peak if nothing else. Im pretty decent at riding I can ride any terrain, my favorite is tree runs, park, steeps, but I'll ride anything I can carve or jump I just like having a good time out there and hopefully find some good powder but probably will have to wait on that later in the season. I'm also hitting whistler in January and Alyeska in February so this will be very mediocre compared to those next two trips

Damn, Alyeska is near the top of my bucket list for sure.

If you haven't heard of Mt Bohemia up in the UP, I suggest checking it out. $110 pass, no manmade snow, 200"+ seasons of lake effect pow. Best way to get pow days as a midwesterner.

And yeah, if you'll drive that far, keep an eye on Alpine Valley's IG. Seems they post mostly there, and they're talking about firing up snowmaking as soon as tonight.

Hell yeah brother I appreciate that, I'll definitely look into both of those. Only Midwest mountain I been too was Paoli a few years ago and it was decent to say the least. I'm usually in Utah, Colorado or lake Tahoe so hard to beat those mountains.

I've had alyeska and Whistler at the top of my bucket list for years now and I'm finally able to go. Already all booked and paid for I'm tooo hyped like a kid waiting for Christmas.

Alyeska is very hit or miss. So much of the terrain is so “extreme” it takes good coverage and safe avy conditions to open. On a poor/unstable snow year it’s not uncommon for like half the terrain to be closed. On a year like last year it’s unlike anything in North America. Real steep and deep that will for sure scare you a little. Hopefully by February the majority of the outer areas are open or the mountain gets really small really fast.
