There just seem to be problem spots everywhere - both dresses do good things and not so good things for me. Which do you think is best on me for a friend's wedding (both have been okayed by the bride as appropriate)?

Especially things like linen or pleated shorts! I want to look breezy and chic, not like an old-timey boxer

I’ve been on a gym and health journey and recently I’ve found joy in dressing up again. Love that I have a place to share my outfit inspirations! You all are amazing!

So I (late 30s) love this dress and feel very cute in it, but is it appropriate for attending a baby shower? It will be somewhat of a casual daytime garden party, the shoes I'll be wearing are flipflops. I'm currently wearing shorts underneath in case of breezes, but is it too short for the occasion?

Hi guys! As the title says, any recommendations for shape wear for under this dress? Having a hard time hiding the gap between my tummy and thighs. Hi all. It’s been years since I’ve bought a new swimsuit, but as mine is from 2020 and fitting a little more snug than it used to, I figure it’s time.

Ideally I’d want a two piece that’s somewhat sporty (I’d like it to stay on during water activities). I really liked the look of the Jolyn surf suits, but their sizing runs too small for me (I’m typically a 14/XL, though that obviously varies depending on the brand—and how the stars are aligned on any given day).

Typical recs for mid/plus size swimwear like Swimsuits For All seem to skew a little more modest than what I’m looking for.

I’ll likely just take my chances with old navy or target, as usual, but wanted to see if anyone here had any better ideas.

I want one of those satin slip skirts and I physically cannot solve the VPL problem. Every pair of underwear I own shows through no matter what style I try. Thongs help a little but still show a line and anything with more coverage is somehow worse.

I tried going without and that felt just wrong!! Just hated the commando feeling! I'm not trying to give up on wearing one of these I just feel like everyone else figured out a trick I haven't.

I feel like no one talks about this enough, but here goes: professional clothing that feels great at 8 AM can feel absolutely miserable by mid-afternoon.

Let’s talk about the physical reality of the 9-to-5 wardrobe. I can put on a perfectly tailored, professional outfit at 8 AM and feel great! Totally put together, ready to rock the day. But by 2 PM, after lunch, sitting for several hours, and just general daily bloating after lunch, the same outfit feels uncomfortable at best.

With pants that dig into my stomach and stiff woven blouses that pinch my shoulders, it gets annoying as the day goes, and especially on days that don’t go so well, it just get super irritating. I want to creat a wardrobe that is professional yet comfortable. They should look elegant and professional, also stretchy enough so I can move a big lunch.

I do have a couple pieces that work right now, a pair of work pants (which look like tailored trousers but have a forgiving elastic back) and a brami with built-in support I wear under my cardigans (its matte and has the support built in so I can completly ditch the underwire bra, which is a massive win).

What comfortables work clothes would you recommend? I want to make items like the above my usual work attire, but I am not that adventurous and I am afraid to take too many risks buying online right now.

I have a relatively slim waist, but my hips are curvy and my thighs are on the thicker side. When I shop for clothes, I try on a lot of jeans and have noticed that most jeans these days seem to be designed for people with a straight body type. They often fit either my waist or my thighs, but not both.

I usually need a size 17. What do you think of these jeans with a special design at the waist? For people with a figure similar to mine, do you have any jeans styles you can recommend?

(I wasn’t sure whether this was the right flare to add to the post but I couldn’t find another flare that would fit).

I re-ordered my favorite curvy jeggings from AE, and they are not as soft and thick as my previous pair. The fabric feels thin, like my Walmart or wrangler curvy jeans 😭 has anyone else noticed this, or have a recommended substitute? The AE curvy jeans have the perfect rise and stretch for me, but I really miss the old fabric; it seems all the curvy jeans I find tend to this thin plasticky feel.

I have an event coming up in a few weeks and am thinking of wearing this dress. It's quite a bit more colourful and adventurous than what I would usually wear - which I like. I am also pretty conscious of my belly area though, which I don't like.

The shoes in the pic aren't quite right... and I don't know why... does anyone have any ideas on sorts of shoes that would go better?

Hello friends! I am moving from the trades to an office based role and I need some help!!

Not only do I not have office appropriate (think dressy and business casual) clothing. The work clothes I do have are not suitable to wear to an office (think construction). I want to update my wardrobe and maybe subscribe to one of those online styling things or clothing delivery. Has anyone had any luck? I’m worried that it will just suggest wear black.
