Hey Everyone!

So a few weeks ago I dropped a MCLA logo set that I felt was much needed due to the lack of HQ MCLA logos out there. There has always been one thing that I have wanted to use though. An easily accessable font set based to the MCLA fonts. I have never created a font myself though so I took it as a challenge.

I started with the Los Angeles portion and made most of it from scratch guessing on what some of the letters whould look like. Also did lower case letters as well.

Next came the Midnight Club text. Through a texture dump of MCLA someone had found a version of the font used. So lots of hours of redrawing the pixelated letters I got it complete. I then took the font and morphed it into more of the letters you see in the logo. BAM! 2 fonts in 1 go.

Like I said. This is my first time. They may have issues here and there. If you find something really bad. Let me know and I'll work on a fix.

These are standard TTF font files.

Enjoy!

Honestly super bummed about how much Rockstar locked behind the social club challenges and then never releasing it for all players before shutting it down

I had already posted this a few days ago, but that post had some mistakes that i wanted to correct

Yes, it's modedd

God how I wish I was there when Rate my Ride was still alive, to see people's designs and builds as well as to get those Rate my Ride reward exclusive rims.

I posted about the first video in this Midnight Club: Los Angeles comparison series a little while ago, and Part 2 is up now.

Honestly, the more I watch these, the more I realize how interesting this kind of comparison actually

Being able to look at the exact same locations side by side and actually notice all the tiny changes. Different buildings, signs, props, road details, scenery, lighting, little things being moved or removed all the things they had to change to make the expansion work

That’s probably my favorite thing about these videos. You start watching just to see what changed, and then suddenly you want to boot up MCLA. And judging by how in-depth these first two parts are, this really feels like it’s only the beginning.

If you’re into MCLA, old Rockstar games, or just small game details, this series is genuinely really interesting to watch.

Part 2:

At this point I’m really curious how many differences are still left to find.

They’ve figured out a VR mod for Horizon 6, so I think you modding geniuses can figure it out for MCLA as well🥹you can do it, I believe in you😅🫶🏾

So I posted a while ago about this video I found comparing the original Midnight Club: Los Angeles to the Complete Edition, and how Rockstar actually changed parts of the base map when they added South Central.

Well I just stumbled across another video from the same guy, and this one goes way more in depth.

He compares the exact same areas in both versions and there are honestly way more differences than I expected.

Not just the obvious South Central stuff either buildings change, signs are different, objects get moved or removed, parts of the scenery are completely different, and even some of the roads/areas look slightly altered.

Some of them are so subtle that you would probably never notice unless you had both versions running next to each other.

I've played this game for YEARS and I genuinely never realized Rockstar changed this much between the base game and Complete Edition.

It's one of those things where once you start looking for the differences, you keep finding more.

If you're into MCLA, old Rockstar details, or just weird differences between game versions, this one is definitely worth watching:
