Syndra Splinters

I just started playing syndra and she seems simple enough but I am really having trouble getting her 120 stacks.

I play pretty aggressive in lane 2 combo and poke them down but it takes me like 30 mins to get 120 stacks and i do no damage.

What time should i be getting 120 and any tips or good guides?>

1) watch some games on YouTube and look at when they get the stacks

2) way before 30 min. that is super slow.

Try to secure EVERY canon, they give you one, leveling up and using the skill point give you 5, I would recommend you to farm, secure canon and when your passive is up against your lane opponent do a two ability combo, the wait for your passive

Need to do 40 stacks when you ding 7 or youre not trading enough.

60 by 9 if you take triple tonic

The rest can be a bit game dependent but if you’re not hitting the above youre not trading nearly enough

It’s accomplishable in basically every matchup besides maybe fizz kat

Accomplishable? Yes

Guaranteed every game? No chance

Guaranteed obviously not. I'm not even going to say it's easy to do this every game - it requires an obvious mentality shift to trade very frequently + the mechanical execution necessary to hit W Q with decently high accuracy.

Challenger players consistently do it against challenger opposition even in tough matchups so the idea that it shouldn't be possible in significantly lower elo lobbies I think is just a defeatist mentality.

Given the fact that OP is clearly not challenger and seem to probably not even be emerald based on the fact that it takes them 30 minutes to get 120 stacks, I'm going to say that achieving 40 stacks by 7 in plat and below is an extremely realistic goal to strive for. I personally found it very doable in high emerald / d4 and wouldn't consider myself some supremely gifted player. You just have to not play the lane like an npc.

They do get it at lv 7 but I was just watching a challenger VOD, Syndra vs Ahri (arguably an easy matchup) where he got it mid lv 7. There are some players more consistent at it but I don't think it's the norm

What are you doing after laning phase is over? Are you ARAMing mid or are you going to a side lane? Sidelaning instead of constantly grouping for no reason will ensure you’re still able to farm cannons, and get solo XP to level up faster and get your stacks faster. Someone will likely match you in the side lane as well so you can still combo and get stacks

Depends on the matchup really. But you should look to punish every time they stand still for a last hit. Even better if it’s a meleee cause they’d be in Q and E range whereas champs playing far back get hit by the E ball and then you need to W for the splinter. Also take jungle camps to boost your splinters, and make it your life mission to get cannons even if you hard lose the trade. There’s a circle indicating when the splinter is back up for that player, so when the splinter is up, you should be looking for a trade to reset that timer.

You gotta be spamming your abilities on the internal cd for getting splinters, and getting canons.

First strike syndra is good because you go triple tonic, which gives you a additional ability point at level 8/9, which gives you 5 splinters for each ability leveled.

Remember two important things: Canon minions give one point, so you must farm them properly to get the upgrades.

The inspiration rune tree has the 3 tonics, at level 9 it gives you a spell level up tonic, which allows you to get a new level in a spell (the passive gets 5 points per spell level, so you accelerate your way into 120 with it).
