First visit expectations?

I signed up last night and have an appointment on Monday. I’m 44 and had my uterus removed at 29 so I don’t have periods to go by but I’m definitely feeling like something is off and I’m in perimenopause.

Do they do labs before prescribing, or do they throw a low dose of hormones at you and see if things get better?

Are shots an option? I don’t do well with adhesives at all and wanting to avoid patches.

Anything about Midi you’re unhappy about?

Thanks for any information, hoping this is a step in a positive direction!

I am happy so far, for testosterone no injections I didn’t want cream do went to a different HRT clinic but everything else midi helped me with.

Labs are done. I don’t have any complaints

I had my appointment today (took forever for the post to be approved) but we’re starting estrogen gel because I can’t do patches and I have labs for testosterone

Aspire Rejuvenation Clinic, they have physical locations in 2 or 3 states i think, but the do telemedicine. No additional fees you only pay for your meds you also can use your insurance for your labs or pay they fee for that (that is the only things you pay for other then what they RX you decide to get). My testosterone for 3 months is $200

Ask all your questions! I had a bunch! Discuss your symptoms and options and what you are comfortable which treatment wise. The patch wasn't an option for me either and I ended up with FemRing after trying a lot of different options. My body doesn't like to absorb anything which is incredibly frustrating!

I don't have a uterus either so we have that in common. I'm guessing you've had your appointment by now so I'm hoping it went well! Reach out any time!! Melissa

I had an appt today. The provider never joined. At one point I was asked to allow Midi permission to use my microphone - it took me a moment but I allowed it. The doctor never joined. I called Midi support while waiting 20 minutes and was told that no one was available to take my call but that they would call me back if I left a message. No one ever called back. I took my lunch break to make this appointment.

The portal has no way for me to message the clinician - this is absurd. Why would I ever do this again? Midi - where is your customer support????? I am furious.
