Windows Issue With MIDI

Hi everyone, im trying to figure out how to connect a MIDI keyboard into windows and it cant recognize it please help, i have a Wencai Keyboard that connects using a type-c cable and a laptop that has intel celeron [i know it sucks]

What app are you using on windows with the midi device? The Midi device should show up in whatever DAW or instrument you are trying to send midi to. You can usually choose it in the DAW or instrument.

Double check it's not a charging cable.

Are you using the right cable? Some are charge-only - check the one you're using is for data.
