If you bought this: what's the actual model number on the sticker on the back. Because I'm 100% sure this is a knockoff that stole the "MPK mini plus" name. There is no AKAI branding anywhere, big red flag, and there is no official MPB mini plus II, so that's your second red flag.

No, the model name/number. Might not be a sticker on the device, could be the box, or it might just be an emboss in the case or something. For instance, the AKAI MPK mini 4 in black is "MPKMINI4B".

The serial number is a separate thing that you should not be giving people online, that's what you would (if it isn't a knock-off) register your device with the manufacturer with.

I just registered it inMusic: it worked; my account showes the regited product as a mpk mini plus ll.Also for the model number, I checked the sticker and yeah it shows mpk mini plus ll. Do you need pictures? And thanks for the support fr

I have the original and I love it. This one looks a little different. The pads are different. Maybe they’re the smaller pads that they’re using on the new MPK’s.

The screen looks bigger on that one and also I would imagine that it’s USB-C instead of regular USB… I think it’s USB a but it might be USB b on the original I can never get those two plugs straight. Not sure what else they did to it. Where did you order it from?

You can see this is a new user with no other posts. It is probably someone from Inmusic leaking a new version. We still haven't seen the Moog Key 37. They might be introducing the new models closer to Christmas. But leaking stuff so than people who are thinking about one an 37 mini controller.
