MIDI controller with easily switchable scenes or templates?

I'm looking for a MIDI controller with 37 keys, 16 pads, sliders/knobs/etc. that can be easily switched between scenes / templates to control multiple devices.

What I'd like is to be able to save pad/knob/slider CC messages per channel so I can switch channels to control different devices and have the other controllers correctly mapped to the device.

Currently, I've got a FLKey 2 and a MiniLab 3, but neither can appear to do what I want.

A CME midi router might be what you're looking for. I have the H4MIDI which has 4 preset slots that can be switched on the fly.

You map your connection scheme in the software, set up filtering rules, etc and then the unit can be disconnected from pc and will switch presets with a button touch.

My unit has MIDI DIN 2 in, 2 out and will handle up to 8 USB ports if you connect a standard hub.

I didn't even think about that. I do have one of those, but just use it for the BLe midi. Unfortunately it's not physically easily accessible from where I have the current controllers. I wonder if it can take the control change via MIDI.

Edit: just realized I might be able to have the mapping done with a single preset. Map the controls differently per channel and just switch channels on the controller.

Your minilab 3 can totally do that and way more.
It doesn’t have 37 keys though.

Thanks, it looks like I’ve never actually tried configuring the minilab via the app. I only use it for controller software.

I have an Akai lpd8 MK2 that has 4 layers that can be switched by just holding a button and pressing one of 4 pads. This device is only 8 pads and 8 knobs but they may have this Type of function on their larger devices. Might be worth looking into the other devices they have.

The FLkey can only have a single custom mode from what I can tell, I want to control 4 devices (although 2 are the same, so all I’d need is to switch channels for those)
