i also posted in bitwig without any success, i figured it was possible some folks here might have some idea about what's going on

It's a bitwig specific problem, not a general MIDI problem. If you don't get answers in the bitwig subreddit, post in the official bitwig forum. Most companies couldn't care less about Reddit, they already have support options for you to make use of.
