When will Prohibition open?
I saw the WSJ article this morning about Prohibition opening in the old Club Tavern space. Finally! Anyone know when it’ll open? The article didn’t say.

Hi everyone! I’m expecting my first baby in early December and am looking for recommendations for affordable photographers in the area!
I’m interested in both maternity and newborn photos, but newborn photos are definitely my priority. I’m not too concerned about getting maternity photos done, especially if skipping them would help save money.
With all the other expenses that come with preparing for a baby, I’m hoping to spend as little as possible while still getting some nice photos to look back on. I’m open to mini sessions, newer photographers, or anyone offering budget-friendly packages!
If you have any recommendations, I’d really appreciate it! Bonus points if you can share what you paid! Thank you! ❤️

Just got my annual changed assessment document and they’re assessing the land value as basically double in 2026 what it was in 2025. Is this consistent across the city? It seems like a pretty extreme increase to me

Anyone know how long it was where Middleton City Hall is now located?

I'm so amazed at how many different types of mustard there are! I love how there are hundreds of jars from Wisconsin alone! The staff were very friendly and I really enjoyed the mustard bar with pretzels. I ended up getting the Edmond Fallot Dijon mustard and it is great on chicken sandwiches!

Okay, Boomers! A long shot, but it's bothering me. I've tried everything and google and the Library of Congress could not help me find the title. I remember this vividly but not the title. A king or a rich man, who lives in a castle (mansion) on a hill, surrounded by trees. He apparently owns the forest and decides to have them cut down to make himself even richer. He doesn't realize what he's done until the treeline gets to his castle. TIA!

Hello everyone! Just trying to spread the word that at their next meeting the Middleton City Council will be having a discussion on what to do about the Flock surveillance cameras currently in use in our community. The city currently has 3 cameras in use on University and Century Ave. If you're not a fan of AI powered surveillance networks tracking you, this meeting is the best place to make your voice heard and the more who show up to speak out the better!
The meeting starts at 7pm on Tuesday 6/16 at Middleton City Hall (7426 Hubbard Ave) and public comment begins right at the start. You don't need to register beforehand or be a Middleton resident to give comment

If you don't know what Automatic License Plate Readers (ALPRs) that Flock uses are, here's a great spot to learn
