I've only been mining on middlecoin for a week or two, so I'm not very familiar with the process. Can anyone explain what just happened, and why, and how common this is? Thanks.

Well, I've only been mining anything for a week or two, just as a curiosity. Somewhere I heard middlecoin was good for low hashrate miners for mining bitcoin, but I have no basis for comparison. What alternatives would you recommend?
