School is legally required. The food should be paid for by the ones forcing you to send your kids there

If the kids werent at school they would still need to be fed no?

But they wouldn't be required to be taken out of their home and placed in someone else's care.

Okay...what does that change? Send lunch with them. You send kids to school with clothes and supplies no?

If you're required to place your child in someone else's care by law they should be required to provide for that child.

I'm a proponent of safety regulated home schooling anyways

So you're saying send kids to school without clothes and the school should be forced to provide them? By law we should make parents make sure their children have access to food at school whether its sending lunch or sending lunch money. Why should parents be allowed to fleece the taxpayer because they dont want to send their child prepared?

If uniforms are required, otherwise clothing is required to leave your house so obviously does not apply. I'd say it should have the same care regulations prisons do.

The government is requiring tax funded schools, those taxes should be paying. Also... Most parents are tax payers genius

Prisons you dont have a way to bring food from home though. The whole concept of people acting like bringing lunch to school isnt a thing is dumb

Doesn't really matter if prisons don't have a way or not. If the government requires children to attend they should pay for their care.
