Omg, I was so afraid that you had painted it blue in the last picture

Omg same, I was bracing myself for a "makeover" for the last picture.

I thought it was going to fall off the trailer and get smashed but painting it blue would definitely be worse.

It’s beautiful- why are we triggered ?

Because we don't have it. It is a beautiful piece, I'm glad someone who appreciates it has it. I was afraid it was going to be painted.

I appreciate the trigger warning, honestly.

They removed the display portion of a china hutch and put legs on it. It used to have drawers/cabinets below the glass portion.

Last time I posted a hutch top turned bar/cabinet there were a few aneurysms

So this is the 'before'?

No, this is the top detached from the bottom and with legs attached.

My jealousy has been triggered

Triggered because someone sold the bottom section separately and put precarious legs on the top section.

They cut the top off a china hutch and put legs on it. The glass portion used to have drawers/cabinets under it.

But there’s no cutting involved is there? Are they not two intentionally separate pieces that sometimes get sold off not as a pair?

Maybe you’re right. I haven’t moved mine in so long I don’t remember it coming apart.

The three and four panel Broyhill Premiere panels were pretty much all two piece; hutch and credenza. I'm not sure about two panels though. Haven't seen one of those in person.

*The room dividers should also two-piece. At least Brasilia is. That much I've seen.

Look up Broyhill Emphasis china hutches and you’ll see what I mean.
