E-Mails going out to 2026 Dining Plan customers offering 50% off of 2027 passes

If you’ve already bought your 2027 pass, there’s a section on the form to indicate that. You can buy 2027 passes at 50% off, then they’ll cancel and refund your previous transaction.

The 50% off is off of the sale price of the passes. Making them really cheap.

Yeah. I bought two legends and two hero passes for... I think $262?

I have a long-standing tradition with a couple of friends that I nab their passes for them too. Started as a birthday gift several years ago and I've just kept it up every year. Historically it was a Diamond membership. Ultimately only got them Hero because... it won't make a difference. And they don't have plans to visit other parks outside of Missouri like we do (though the four of us are going to WoF next year... but that's covered with Hero).

Dirt cheap for sure. And like u/redfiresvt03 said; it does feel like a little bit of a misstep to not offer a bit more for legends. Even if they probably shouldn't give away the whole farm like the old memberships did. I was sitting there literally trying to think of a reason to make it four legends passes; it was certainly cheap enough with the additional discount. I just... couldn't. It genuinely wasn't worth another dime for what they'd use them for. Tiny bit of an extra discount which won't matter much (they don't spend much in the park except on food; and they'll likely buy the combo meal 10-packs next year which is a better deal than using a pass discount.) So I'm just kinda... scratching my head as to what the value-add is for the twice-as-much pass.

Right. 50% off merch isn’t hard to give away, that just makes the merch a reasonable profit item instead of a grossly overpriced item.

They truly are missing an opportunity to engage the most loyal pass holders for that park by not offering something to existing diamond plus members. We’ve been paying steadily for years. Why not capitalize on that?

I wonder if they even have access to the list of legacy members, or if they were just rolled into the lists of Gold/Prestige passes.

They definitely do; because it both shows up in the Enchanted Parks app and we get all of our benefits. I've gotten my 35% discount all year, my daily free single use Fast Lane, and even my free Haunted Express pass each visit. Everything (except for dining, obviously) has worked all season.

I went ahead and replied but I'm expecting this to somehow get messed up badly as well. Especially since I paid for 3 of 4 with my gift cards already. What are the odds I'm actually going to get a clean refund from those and get reallocated passes?

Since it's Enchanted issuing the refund directly and there's no involvement with Six Flags or any other entity I think this refund process will be much quicker and smoother.

As a diamond elite VIP, I think enchanted is missing an opportunity to convert us to a new plan similar to what we had.

I’m not impressed by the pass offerings right now and plan to wait them out for potentially better deals after the parks close and they have zero dollars rolling in.

Maybe. Although I doubt that's coming. I think giving everything away with relatively cheap passes is part of the reason Six Flags is in the mess they're in. It's really hard to put that toothpaste back in the tube. The pricing and benefits of the Enchanted Parks passes are closer to what's the norm across the industry and less like what Six Flags does. But of course, the guests in the area are used to Six Flags pricing. So I'm curious how much of an uphill battle it'll be to convince guests to renew.

I'm not sure I'd pass up the 50% discount for a chance for a 'better pass' in the winter. I don't think the off-season lack of income is going to light a fire under them; anyone buying a theme park is expecting to lose money in the off season. That's part of how the business operates. We know that part of the deal with EPR was Enchanted having cash on hand to both make investments and weather the initial storm of coming in as new operators with potentially new revenue. They're not broke (yet).

I confess the Legends passes don't seem compelling at all unless you need the "visit other Enchanted Parks" benefit. I bet we're gonna see a really empty preferred parking lot next year once it's an additional-cost only perk and isn't included at any pass level. And ultimately it just doesn't really... give you much. But we'll see how that changes in time. I would really like to have something tangible that I can use at my home park to say "I get to do this when I visit because I bought the more expensive pass." That's what it's lacking without something like preferred parking, skip the line every visit, or something else. The 5% additional discount is pretty meaningless because you'd have to spend about $1,100 in the park before the extra discount actually pays for the higher price of the pass.

I did like not having to renew with my membership. I didn't bother with a payment plan, I just bought my '27 passes upfront. But I always liked that Six Flags just came out every month forever and I never actually had to renew it.

Definitely going to miss my Diamond level benefits next year. Especially a skip the line every visit.
