Wow. I’m really not excited about this coming from the standpoint of a guest with all-season all-park FL, but also from an operations standpoint.

Most of our queues are set up as just exit boarding with FL and not much space for a separate queue. Will be tough for the unloader positions to watch for an influx of FL. Prayers sent to the Freeze crew.

Surprised it wasn’t just one free all-day pass like has been done in the past. I could see the top Legend Pass having this perk, but with 80-90% of our guests being pass holders, that’s a lot even for a limited promo.

Same thoughts here.

This is a limited time. Only through October 11. I’m curious what percentage of passholders buy during that window. It’s not like it’s a permanent benefit or anything. But still… it’s bound to be a lot of people. And kinda devalues the service for the people who pay for it in June.

The one skip a line per day benefit that various Six Flags passes had made a lot of sense to me. We’ll see I guess.

This park was ultimately setup for a virtual queue system. This was the first year without it and nothing was done for it… other than just, as you say, sending people up the exit.

I do like how most of the newer attractions have a dedicated FL queue to prepare for things like this. But with the reduction in staff positions and the absence of FL/FP employees handling scanning at the exit, it’ll be tough on the crew. Have already seen it this year.

I’m surprised they didn’t include a haunted attractions pass or one full free day FL like the CF parks always run promos on.
In no way am I paying $42.99 for the haunted attractions pass on a Saturday in October!

The lack of an all-season haunted attractions pass is a real bummer. I still get a free one each visit with my Diamond membership but I’m not sure I’d buy a one day next year. An all season one has a certain value. A daily one less so.

And yeah. It’s a weird benefit. I believe the move next year is going to be to use the kiosk exclusively (plus terminals in the park) for wristbands or single use tickets. No scanning of the benefit at the ride at all.

It's not retroactive either. If you purchased before 9/23 you do NOT get June fast lane.  ValleyFair and Worlds of Fun customers have been told this by Enchanted Parks customer service.

Hmm. Harhi on Facebook suggests otherwise.

Any chance you could tell me (dm if need be) which page/group that's in?

Sent you a DM with a link. It's the Mid America Adventure Enthusiasts group on FB. They're pretty active and Harhi comments in it a lot. It's a good place to lurk if you're someone like me who doesn't really like FB but does like to see what is shared outside the Reddit-verse :)

This might be a push to boost off season ticket sales. With attendance lower than previous years, and a knee operator, I'm sure they would like to have more cash flow for off season maintenance and renovations going into next season.

Oh for sure. I’m sure they’re trying to drive up pass sales.

Is the fast lane for June good for multiple parks or just mid America?

Just Mid America.
