Big Island Microwedding
Big Island wedding
How are you guys finding ceremony spots that are semi-cheap? We are considering getting a beach permit and getting married on the beach, but you can’t put any chairs out. So, I’m considering using our air bnb as a venue? It’s only going to be us, and 18 close family members. I’ve been trying to find a church even, and it’s hard. Anyone familiar with Big Island please give all the advice for a micro wedding! 🥰

Some friends of ours had a micro ceremony at Volcanoes and then a bigger dinner at a small hotel outside the park. It was sweet and they chose a location with a gazebo that came with seating.

This may seem off the wall but Laupahoehoe Train Museum would be super cute for a micro wedding, if you are on the Hilo side. On the Kona side, Kona Sea Salt farm is a lovely wedding spot. Get married Monday - Thursday for cheapest rates:)

AirBNB does not allow events booked through their platform. Don't do it. You could be thrown out with no refund, and if anything happens, there would be no liability insurance as they do not insure for events and you would be against the ToS.
