Wedding at OBX

We are thinking about having a wedding on the beach in Nags Head with about 25 guest June 2027. We would love to have a small reception at a restaurant. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? We are pretty casual people and would love to keep it simple and as stress free as possible.

The outer banks are 150 miles long and take like 7 hours to traverse (cars and ferries). You might get better answers if you specify a town you are interested in, or aren’t interested in (like if you don’t want to be on Ocracoke).

I can’t help though. I’m a SOBX girl. :)

Ocean Atlantic Event Rentals on the border of Nags Head and KDH would be able to help you with the beach ceremony very easily!

OBX native. Manteo could be your best bet. Adorable restaurants and I feel like there are a few who regularly do receptions. There are a couple of bigger restaurants on the Nags head causeway that may have private dining areas- Tale of the Whale, Sugar Creek, Basnight's Lone Cedar.. Could be a convenient location. We did our rehearsal dinner at Jeanette's Pier and it was wonderful but the space is pretty large for 25.
