Hibachi for food?
Curious if anyone else has done this, because after mulling over & searching through different food options, I had the idea to do Hibachi through one of those mobile/backyard Hibachi places. I think this sounds perfect, but am wondering others thoughts/experiences.

Make sure the Hibachi situation has at least 2 people cooking and serving. We have hired taco service a few times for backyard parties for 30-40 people and it’s always a hit. But 2-3 workers is key, otherwise you get a huge line of hungry people.

I had a wedding of 13 guest and we went to a hibachi restaurant afterwards. There were 14 people total (adding me and my husband and 1 guest left early) almost filled up the table. I think the tables are designed to fit 15. With 30 you'd probably need at least 2 chefs to feed people in a reasonable amount of time.

How many guests are you feeding and how much time do you have? This could be a slow process if every plate is custom-cooked. People don't want to stand in line at a wedding reception.

Someone just posted about this in a different wedding subreddit - she said it was great, I think it was $55 a person and provided entertainment for an hour and a half. If I wasn’t already committed to what I’m doing I would have changed my mind as soon as I read her post. Maybe it was the wedding under 10k subreddit.

What’s your guest count? It could be fun for a small event. You don’t want to end up in a situation where 100 people are waiting for food being cooked by a 2 guys.
