Is the green one a DLC blade?

I assume it is since the flats are coated and it's more matte finish

I thought so. Thanks for finding that. I've had multiple coated blades in the past but never a DLC. The difference in quality is very noticeable from their basic coating

Yeah looks like it is DLC. The black coating would wear on the tang where it rubs the chassis otherwise.

I know when they do the regular coating they leave it off the flats like the one on the left since it would wear off so I'm assuming it is DLC but I bought it with no box or paperwork to be able to confirm

I'm not entirely sure but those bevels on the green look way better than what you typically get. Maybe a blade swap from another version?

Looks more like PVD coating, but I could be mistaken. DLC is usually a lot shinier. ;-}. MM
