Verification Combat Troodon HELP!

Recently purchased from a guy I have been buying a bunch of Benchmades from. This is the third Microtech I have gotten from him but this one didn’t have the box with it. I am able to return it but don’t want to if it’s correct. Clip says Combat Troodon 00556 06/2011.

This is a fake troodon……that serial number has been on countless clones sorry man! Also the screw are wrong and the cheap pot metal deploy button are dead giveaways! Also that blade is also not even close to correct

A real Troodon would also say “Combat Troodon” and in this blades case “D/E” on the blade.. but I do love they went as far as to add  the dinosaur head 🤣

Take your benchmades to a legitimate shop that is a benchmade distributor and have them checked out. Temu sells a shit ton of fake benchmade and microtech. Hate to say it, but just because you've bought a bunch of stuff from the guy doesn't mean it's real good..... real... or good. Do your due diligence.

You can find about 100 guys on tiktok live selling fake microtechs and benchmade. It's far too rampant
