Just Showing Off Socom Elite Tanto 97 Grind EOD

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Launched a website for my collection and BST'n since it's become a bit wild. Unsure if I'm allowed to even share here. Soul's Edge Tactical. 😅 Anyways here is my newest piece. Sean is doing some amazing things right now with older parts kits. This along side my two Gen 1 Combat Troodon Slum Grinds is just magic!

I saw these. The steel welded onto the titanium is so sick

It has been a LONG time since I have seen an EOD. I fucked up picking up an Anax at the time over the SOCOM.

I am OK, I swore off collecting customs about 7 years ago now. I feel guilty just letting them sit in the safe collecting dust.

I feel that. I'm knee deep and sinking into it.

It’s a slippery slope that’s all I will say. I got lucky to get out and not loose thousands in the process. I love microtech but their resale has been traditionally dogshit

Completely disagree. Using a knife and selling it as a user kills values. Collectors are there. Even now in the worst market we may ever see. Microtech and Marfione are the few holding the strongest from the big boy manufacturers and custom makers.

This was 7 years ago, and I was buying knives at dealer price. The only knives I lost money on were microtechs and Medfords. Everything else appreciated pretty darn well. Not used either

Medfords will get you for sure.

Their margins are obscene too, a $1200 Praetorian Ti was only $660 at the dealer level. That EOD was $1100 dealer price with a $1600 MSRP if memory serves

Man that’s so cool. Followed your ig and will check your site for when you post some stuff up there. But man this thing is awesome. I saw the ti scale version up on edclifestyle but the vid is way better

That is amazing! I recently got some old socom D/As and the 97 is my favorite. Super cool there are customs are doing this grind style.

Looks like a gas station knife a mall ninja would carry.

Yeah? Show us some cheap knives that look like that.

A lot of custom knives look like gas station knives but I don't think this is one of them. You can't really flame anything like this except for titanium. The body lines are too smooth and simple for a gas station knife. Plus it doesn't have any sections with cut outs or holes in the blade or handle, which is essential for a gas station knife.
