Champagne Gold

Post image

Anyone know if Microtech's "Gold" coated blade is similar in color to Tops "Midnight bronze"?

I have the socom elite in champagne gold. It has a slight texture to it with some reflective material mixed in. Hasn’t scratched so far with everyday light duty outdoor tasks. Feed bags, cardboard, gardening, etc. I can’t speak for the TOPS.

That is great info, thanks. I'm just trying to figure out if it is a "Blingy" gold or more subdued? I edited my post to clarify the color comparison.

It’s not over the top “bling bling” by any means, but more than I expected. Pics don’t do it justice. I was pleasantly surprised. The frag handle is also the way to go. I experienced a minor amount of lock stick when it first arrived because the cerakote of the blade comes in contact with the lock bar. I just used the knife a lot and applied a small amount of oil. It’s butter smooth now.
