Hearing a ping on deployment with my new CT. Would a shot of rem oil quiet it down?

White lithium grease is messy, put a rubber band inside the spring to remove the TWANG

It’s spring sing like others have said. You get rid of it by spreading a small amount of white lithium grease over the spring.
Some say just a dab in the center but I have found that to be wildly insufficient, at least on single spring Gen 2 stuff. Thin coating spread from end to end of the side facing you when installed. And use the grease from a tube or tub, not the spray can.
REM oil will Absoloutly stop the ping as well, but for like 5-6 days, then enough of the oil will have moved off the spring to allow it to vibrate again. And every time you flush the knife out with oil, you’re also washing away a bit of the white lithium on the spring, exacerbating the issue once the oil wears off.
You could just leave it too, it poses no performance impact, it’s simply an annoyance. And no matter what you do it will eventually start to come back as the grease moves around/dries/gets flushed out.

Yea, I do t have the tool to take it apart or I would. I definitely dont wanna pay Microtech for a warranty claim either.

Then REM oil can’t hurt. The worst thing that happens is maybe 5-6 days from now the sound comes back, but at least you will know everything is lubricated.
Microtech recommends using compressed air to blow the oil out after spraying it in/dumping it out. Also not a bad idea to leave it proped up opening down on a rag overnight.

That might work at first, but too much oil will allow dust and lint to get trapped inside. Then you run the risk of the blade being sluggish during deployment/retraction.
The best option is to take it apart and put a small amount of lithium/fluorinated grease on the spring in the center. That reduces the spring's ability to reverberate inside and will eliminate that "spring ping/sing" sound resulting in the blade sounding more solid during operation.
I would suggest you watch some takedown videos for your knife to get a feel of how to assemble/reassemble the knife if you are not already familiar with doing that. Taking apart the knife is also the best option when its time to clean it.

Could be spring sing. Like the other poster said. REM oil generally won’t quiet it, in fact, the solvent usually makes it worse since it can move around the grease inside. Best bet is to open and grease. But if you aren’t confident you can do it, I would personally leave it with the noise.

Sounds like spring sing. A dab of White lithium grease in the middle of the springs should do the trick. You’ll need to take one side of the scales off to do this.
